“The Way Art Has Changed My Life: How I Learned To See Beauty In Almost Everything”
Hey there!
Have you ever experienced the feeling of not being creative for a long time? This can be a difficult time, as creativity is deeply embedded into our sense of self.
Introduction When I was younger, I loved art. I was always sketching, painting, and drawing anything I could get my hands on. I used art to express myself, to relax and to just have fun. But as I got older, I stopped doing art as much. Life got busy, and I stopped making time for it.
Facing Fears Recently, I decided to start sketching again. It felt like coming home, and I realized how much I had missed it. It was like rekindling an old flame. But starting again also brought up some old fears. I was still not as good as I wanted to be, and I was afraid of not being able to reach the level I was at before.
How Art changed my Life Creating art can be intimidating. We’re used to seeing the work of accomplished artists and feel like our own efforts could never measure up. We often feel like we need to be an expert before we even start. But that couldn’t be further from the truth.
A Fresh Perspective This is when I realized the real impact that art has had on my life. It has helped me to see beauty in almost everything. Colors look more vibrant, the clouds have multiple colors, textures pop out, and even the water waves have highlights and reflections. It reminded me that even the most ordinary of things can be extraordinary when seen through an artistic lens.
The beauty of art is that it can give you a whole new perspective on what was around you.
I'm so glad to be back to creating art. But I'm also still learning to be comfortable with my own work. I'm giving myself time to practice and improve my skills, but I'm also learning to appreciate where I am in the process. I'm learning to embrace my imperfections and enjoy the journey.
Embracing Art & Yourself Art has given me hope and optimism to push through any fears and doubt I had before. I think it's totally worth giving it a go and rediscovering your inner artist. With a little dedication, it could be the start of something truly special.
So, if you have been feeling like you need a creative outlet, don't hesitate to give your creativity a try. It’s a great way to practice mindfulness, express yourself and explore something new. If you’ve been feeling the creative itch, why not give it a try?
Take some time for yourself and explore your creativity. You never know what you might find!
So, whatever you do, don't forget:
Sometimes 'All you need is You & Art'.
Best,
Dasham
